2011 wrap up

quite a bit late, but given how 2012 started, now is the right time to wrap up 2011. WordPress was kind enough to send me a 2011-summary, tùm tùm tum

There were many highlights in 2011, but the most fun definitely took place on this date above, when an impromptu gathering of whiteshirts joined me during the most intense hours of paper-editing mixing with enjoying the fabulous fabulous near-live documentary of Vesselina Kasarova’s tour in Moscow.

It’s quite nice to see the photos visitors clicked on the most

Much thanks to all visible and invisible visitors. Am also quite pleased the most searched terms include spadia z oblakov and VK. It seems maestra Tomomi Nishimoto has quite a following on the web.

Academically, the highlight was definitely the acceptance of that hard-fought paper, which I will always associate with VK’s moscow trip on that memorable weekend. It even capped off with whiteshirt friends and more coming to aid with paper editing well into the morning early afternoon hours (also a shout to Eyes for help on another english thingie at some later time).

It was also nice that my traveling has allowed meeting with some fantastic whiteshirt bloggers (a shout to DtO for the super nice hosting to Orfeo, Smorgy for Der R, Suzette & Purity for the other Romeo). Am sure someday my travel will bring me to hang out with more cool friends I’ve “met” on the musical web.

Finally, as a biiig fan of women football (soccer), am beyond glad Japan won the world cup!! how happy was I ? did i mention i now have that final game in 5 different languages? 🙂

So, here’s a toast (boba milk-tea of course) to a fun, productive, friendly, and musical 2012 to all old and newly made friends near and far.
