So the question is what’s on RBG’s opera playlist tonight, and what’s on Scalia’s opera playlist tonight.
I imagine her tearing down the Beltway in a chauffeur-driven Lincoln Town Car with all the windows rolled down blasting Sta nell’ircana and firing rainbow confetti out the sunroof with a high-powered confetti cannon. Meanwhile, Scalia’s down in his mancave listening to Nabucco, crying into his Coors and not taking any phone calls.
Hmmm…. is this where funding cuts to conservatoriums and music education is taking us to?
Looks like the kids are having great fun – beer and bach. Now there’s an idea for an entrepreneurial musician or ensemble… Wonder if singing under the influence makes the runs any easier???
Hope it doesn’t, then half the baroque singers would come to work sloshed!
